ANDRE BRUNETTE

Head Coach
Andre played minor hockey at the AA and AAA levels right here in Sudbury. He is a graduate of the Nickel Capitals AAA midget hockey club, was invited to Collingwood Blues and Waterloo Siskins Junior hockey training camps and played 1 year OCAA hockey.
Andre is HP1 certified and has been coaching in the Sudbury community for 20 years. He has a diverse background of hockey experience in both the SDGHA and SMHA. Andre was an Assistant Coach with the SMHA from 2005-2010 and 2016-2018 where he was involved in the AAA Wolves Minor Midget program.
Most recently he held the position of Head Coach for the SLW Midget AA
hockey team.
STEPHANIE PASCAL

Assistant Coach
Stephanie is a graduate of SLW program. She was a member of the 2014 OWHA Gold Medal winning Midget AA team and helped lead her team to a Bronze Medal at the National Esso Cup Championships.
Once Stephanie’s Midget career was complete, she went on to star in net for the Queens Golden Gaels for four seasons. While at Queens, Steph was named OUA goaltender of the year, as well as being picked as an OUA first team All-Star in 2018.
SCOTT RIENGUETTE

Assistant Coach
Scott has been coaching competitive hockey for 15 years at various levels and has completed his HP1 certification. Most recently helped with SLW U18 bubble for the 2020-2021 season.
Scott volunteered as a board member on Nickel District Hockey League as well Nickel City Minor Hockey.
Scott is a strong believer that if you put your mind to something and fully commit, anything is achievable. As a personal example of this philosophy, he set a goal to run a full marathon by the age of 40 and surpassed that goal multiple times. He is honoured to have achieved success and has recently qualified to run the Boston Marathon.
Scott is a Certified Mental Health Coach and motivational builder.
KEVIN MILLER

Manager
Kevin has coached and managed on various teams in SDGHA. He has served on SDGHA Board of Directors in various roles and played an essential role in the success of the Esso Cup National Championship. •He most recently was the manager for the 2019-20 SLW Midget AA hockey team and has agreed to stay with team.
ROB MININNI

Public Relations Coordinator
Rob has coached various levels of hockey for seven years in both Barrie and Sudbury, including Initiation, House League, and the Lady Wolves program. Hi is the Head coach of the U13B Sudbury Lady Wolves. He was also the Head Coach of the 2018/19 Atom BB Lady Wolves and Assistant Coach with the 2017/18 Novice team.
Rob has served on the SDGHA Board of Directors in various roles and was a member of the 2018 Esso Cup Committee.
Rob has owned and managed multiple companies. His extensive marketing background includes website development, social media management, graphic design, and public relations.
DEREK MCKINNON

Trainer
Derek has been involved with the SLW organization for a number of years both on the board and as a trainer for a number of the SLW teams. I have been a trainer for the Midget AAA boys throughout my time with Sudbury minor hockey.
Derek is a Professor/Coordinator for the Paramedic Program at Cambrian College and his highest level of practice was as a Critical Care Flight Paramedic with the Ministry of Health. Derek has also held a previous position as an Advance Care Land Paramedic with the Greater City of Sudbury before his Professorship began in 2001.
Derek is passionate about the care and wellbeing of the athlete’s and takes pride in creating a healthy and positive atmosphere for the players, staff and parents.
KARLI SHELL

Assistant Coach
Karli is a graduate of the SLW program and played from Novice through Midget. She was a member of the 2015 Esso Cup Gold Medal and 2014 Esso Cup Bronze Medal teams. Karli was named top scorer and forward for the 2014 Esso Cup and top forward for the 2015 Esso Cup.
Karli played five seasons with the Guelph Gryphons in the OUA where she won USPORTS gold in 2019 and 2 OUA Championships (2016,2017,2019). Karli has a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics.
