ANDRE BRUNETTE

Head Coach

Andre played minor hockey at the AA and AAA levels in Sudbury. He graduated from the Nickel Capitals AAA midget hockey club, was invited to Collingwood Blues and Waterloo Siskins Junior hockey training camps, and played one year of OCAA hockey.

 

Andre is HP1 certified and has coached in the Sudbury community for 20 years. He has a diverse background in hockey and experience in both the  SDGHA and SMHA. Andre was an assistant coach with the SMHA from 2005 to 2010 and from 2016 to 2018, during which he was involved in the AAA Wolves Minor Midget program.

Most recently, he held the position of Head Coach for the SLW U18AA

hockey team. 

AUDREY-ANN BOTOUR

Assistant Coach

Audrey played for Dawson College Blue in Montreal from 2011-2014 and went on to play for the University of Carleton Ravens from 2014-2017 and the Neughberg Highlanders European Women's League in the 2018-2019 hockey season. Her coaching experience includes 2 seasons as an assistant coach with the Ottawa Lady 67s and 1 season as an assistant with the SLW U18BB. She was drafted by the Toronto Fury in the 2017 CWHL draft.. Audrey is a police officer for the Greater Sudbury Police Service and is a great role model for our female athletes.

ELISSA BERTUZZI

Assistant Coach

Elissa participated in the SLW program growing up, where she played from U11 to Senior level. After the SLW program, she played with the Laurentian University varsity hockey team in Usport for five years. While playing at Laurentian, she learned valuable hockey skills and lessons she hopes to pass on to future female hockey players.

Elissa has previously assisted and coached the SLW U15 AA for two in 2021-22 and 2022-23. In the 2022-23 season, the U15 AA team was fourth in Provincials. She has also helped coach with high school hockey from the 2023-24 season
 

KEVIN MILLER

Manager

Kevin has coached and managed various SDGHA teams. He has also served on the SDGHA Board of Directors in multiple roles and played an essential role in the success of the Esso Cup National Championship. He most recently managed the 2024-25 SLW U18AA hockey team.

TAYLOR SCOTT

Trainer

Taylor is a graduate of the Human Kinetics program at Ottawa University and the Sudbury Lady Wolves Program. She was a member of the SLW Esso Cup Silver Medalist team in 2018. Taylor went on to play U22 for one season with the Ottawa 67s and played 4 seasons for the University of Ottawa Gee Gees.

ROB MININNI

Video Coach

Rob has coached girls’ hockey in Barrie and Sudbury for eleven years. His most recent Head Coach position was the 2024-2025 U15 BB Sudbury Lady Wolves. Rob coached the team to five tournament wins, including the 2025 Provincial Championship. Rob was also the Head Coach of the 2023-2024 U13 BB Sudbury Lady Wolves, 2022-2023 U13 B SLW, the 2018-2019 Atom A SLW and an assistant coach with the 2019-2020 Atom AA SLW and the 2017-2018 Novice SLW. Rob has also served as a member of the SDGHA Board of Directors, holding the roles of Director of Coach & Player Development, House League Director, and Public Relations. 

GERRY DUPUIS

Assistant Coach

Gerry is HP1 certified and has coached in the Sudbury community for 20 years. He has a diverse background in hockey experience with SMHA, CCMH and SDGHA. Gerry most recently was the head coach of the U15 U14AAA Wolves for the past 2 seasons. He helped guide them to become the Big Nickel tournament champions, League champs and an OHF appearance.
Gerry is a student of the game, always looking for innovative ways to challenge his players. He continues to grow as a coach by attending seminars and coaching conferences.

JASON SCOTT

Assistant Coach

Jason spent his professional career training others, which has translated seamlessly into the world of hockey and coaching, making him a great communicator and problem solver. He spent 10 seasons as an assistant coach with various Sudbury Lady Wolves teams and played an essential role in the SLW Esso Cup team in 2018-2019.

BRUCE MCDOUGALL

Goalie Coach

Over the years, Bruce has used his expertise and experience to train many fine goalies. His students have gone on to excel as goalies at all levels of the sport, as well as being successful in other areas of their lives. Bruce was the goalie coach for both Stephanie Pascal and Mirelle Kingsley, who both went on to win medals at Esso Cups while playing for the

Sudbury Lady Wolves.
